About Julia

"Let yourself be silently drawn by the strange pull of what you really love - it will not lead you astray." Rumi

I grew up in rural North Carolina the middle of three sisters. I spent my days roaming the woods, playing in the pond, and climbing trees, usually lost in some elaborate make believe fairy tale with fictional characters buzzing around me. I would build giant dollhouses out of cardboard boxes and even a giant fort out of tarps and lawn furniture for my friend and I to play house in. I've always been creative and tactile with my hands.

My childhood laid the foundation for my adult life. With a wanderlust soul and restless hands I set out to build versatile leather bags for the busy and adventurous woman.

I'm a low maintenance kind of girl who prefers a minimalist lifestyle. I design leather bags to be the only bag a woman will ever need and that will last for lifetimes.

I started designing bags in 2011 in North Carolina. After moving to Taos, New Mexico in 2014 my creativity became inspired by the wild landscape and rich history surrounding me.

All bags are designed and handmade in my studio overlooking the magnificent Sangre de Cristo Mountain ranges of the Southern Rockies.

Every day is an adventure.
